Dwoon 1st Gear May 22, 2007 Author Share May 22, 2007 Oh yes.... Caltex is already smooth and no power for me... using it on Caltex is just a waste. Best when used with Petronas.
Saaber Neutral Newbie May 22, 2007 Share May 22, 2007 it is a cleaner and lubricant. to be use regularly, not 1 time usage. 1 bottle can treat 640 litres of petrol....
Dwoon 1st Gear May 22, 2007 Author Share May 22, 2007 Ermmm... which is like sufficient for 1 month's usage...
Saaber Neutral Newbie May 22, 2007 Share May 22, 2007 it depends, for some 1 month, for some as long as 4 to 6 months.....so it depends on individual usage...
Solar Turbocharged May 22, 2007 Share May 22, 2007 Can't use Petronas (altho i agree its good)...cos my place too far from the causeway to be cost-effective.. 1/4 every 1.5 day.. In SG, other than Caltex, what other brand do you suggest?
Dwoon 1st Gear May 22, 2007 Author Share May 22, 2007 Guess you need to try the diff local brands available to see which works best for you. For my ride, I use ESSO 98RON which I find it alright. I will top upto the 3/4 mark every Sunday night, to get into JB risk free on Monday. Since you're driving an LGT... if its power you're after, you might want to try out Toluene which is being sold at around $85 for a 16 or is it 18 ltr tin. You'll fly on that stuff.... and your boost will climb so fast that it'll spike....
Solar Turbocharged May 22, 2007 Share May 22, 2007 Okie.. actually FC is the last thing on my mind.. well, if there's some good stuff (which works) saves a bit of moola for something else, why not About Toluene.. heard about it but didn't take it seriously.. will check it out in more detail.. Thanks.
