O2asis Neutral Newbie April 22, 2007 Share April 22, 2007 same here.. engine is so much smoother, and noticably less noisy. probably can be mistaken for more power? also, cranks on the 1st attempt from cold, dunno if due to lc20 or fp60.. i dunk both in the car anyway, just 1st tank.. dunno how's the fc though.. would be most impressed if its able to improve fc from 6-7kml right now With FP60 and LC20 use, a dyno will show HP gains so you're spot on. Smoother engine is mostly from LC20 (though FP60 also helps). LC20 has the ability to lowers the coefficient of friction within the engine. One interesting observation from chemist who has worked with LC20 - Dissolved carbon turns into a colloidal lubricant. Friends with temp guages in their performance car noticed that the oil temp starts to drop to normal faster with Lc20 use :) FP60 helps easier startup cranks. O2asis Neutral Newbie April 22, 2007 Share April 22, 2007 Wow then your ride became 'addicted' to it. Quite costly. Per dosage treatment cost, FP60 is among the cheapest fuel additive available. When use with the lowest RON your car needs, it gives the performance of higher RON fuel. You may even be able to use 1 grade lower RON fuel without any pinging. Either way, its very possible that FP60 pays for itself and may even save you some money. Tie this to the benefits you get with FP60 e.g lubricity, clean fuel delivery system, cleaner exhaust, potential to get better fuel consumption, etc..... Discoburg Supersonic April 23, 2007 Share April 23, 2007 If the usage of the FP60 will give you cleaner furl delivery system, cleaner xos etc, then usage of it 1 time should be sufficient for a few tanks of petrol till those items ge 'clogged' up again right? O2asis Neutral Newbie April 23, 2007 Share April 23, 2007 You can vary usage of course. FP60 is a very gentle cleaner and designed for every time use. Fuel nowadays is being mandated to have lower sulphur (especially diesel) which has lubrication properties. Your fuel pump and fuel injectors will benefit most from FP60 lubricity. Furrynadz 5th Gear April 28, 2007 Share April 28, 2007 anyone know if it can be use on a diseal engine? yes FP 60 can help reduce emissions and improve fuel economy via better combustion and diesel fuel stability diesel engines run very hot and oxidise oil very rapidly using LC20 with good oil like schaeffers 9000 will ensure smoothness even up to 15000km
