Dtvox Neutral Newbie February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 You pretty much sum up the list for under $75k... If you provide quick service and need to reach destination faster, top up $30k and get the Saab Combi...sweet...
Zulu Neutral Newbie February 22, 2007 Author Share February 22, 2007 That's my all time favourite wagon , saab is an excellent marque , the only car marque that comes with turbo with all model. Too bad, the budget is there to keep.

Tribeca Neutral Newbie February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 Hi bro, Opel Astra sport wagon is 1.8L so perfomance shld be above all the rest u mentioned being 1.6L. Based on looks the megane & astra has my vote. Warranty wise focus has a 100km 5 year warranty. Which for a co car might be a good idea. cheers
Hogster Neutral Newbie February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 My vote goes to the Opel. It's going for about 73k now.
Verve 1st Gear February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 its for commercial purpose right, so low cost must be a big consideration why not the chevrolet optra wagon, it drives like conti, fc about the same as the rest and best of all at least 15k savings. Zulu Neutral Newbie February 22, 2007 Author Share February 22, 2007 I thot of that too, but may be too under power, only 95bhp. too low for a station wagon weighty body, plus the engineers working tools .
Verve 1st Gear February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 alternatively why not consider a wish and just rip out the rear 2 seats and you have a wagon
Fabulous Neutral Newbie February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 Hi all, My service dept. is presently looking for a station wagon, as there is not much station wagon in the market, that's why need bros here recommendation? budget is below $75k, any make is welcome, but must be from authorise dealer. My personal fave were Opel Astra sport wagon, Renault Megane sport tourer, ford focus station wagon. Thanks in advance. If you dun have the intention of ferrying people, why get a station wagon? With that amount, you can easily get 2 van? The COE for commercial vehicle is only S$1, worth getting one.. If you think the 70km/h speed restriction is a problem, not quite... if you drive a van at 80km/h on highway, TP will not summon you. The speed limit on highway is 90km/h for cars. Normal roads... sigh... even if you are driving a car, you might not be able to drive at 70km/h...
Iziz Clutched February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 There is another option but guess its out of ur budget. Legacy Wagon... Of coz if u r open to PIs, there is always Accord Wagon, not too such abt the pricing though. Alternatively, turbo the TS On a more serious note, for a wagon, do u need so much power? As its a company car, too fast might not be a good option
Fabulous Neutral Newbie February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 I am driving a wish.. The seats at the last row can be lowered to form a flat platform, you do not need to rip out the seats.
Azarael Clutched February 22, 2007 Share February 22, 2007 my fren has a cheverolet optra wagon... looks nice but without roof railings and being black in colour , it does look a bit like a hearse.... Fc is not fantastic but it's dirt cheap. opel astras sport wagon is best choice i thinks.
