Wish or Stream?

That's quite a stupid reason the SE gave...

If it's really a manufacturing fault, then they can always point the finger back to Honda...why waste the chance to make more $$$? Unless Honda JP halt the import themselves.

I think Stream might have been the best selling MPV now if they have brought in earlier...by the time they resolve it, I think the new Wish/facelifted Mz5 or new Nissan 2L MPV would be fighting for market share liao...

Our market here is very cruel, whoever first to sell wins...ppl here always rush to buy new models even when they are at rocket high prices...

Hi,

I had even write to KM's product manager to clarify when and what model will they bring in.

The manager told me that KM will bring in the 1.8L version too.

Neutral Newbie

takes forever for them to working out the details...

there is something that i could never understand. i think it's very funny that customers are more eager than the AD considering the fierce market competition these days. everyday they are losing business and customers to PI. guess they are simply not hungry enough.

Yes, Mz5 has sliding doors, good handling, nice interior and low price...

Where to get MPV below 70k now (from AD)???

I heard the facelift will come with 5-speed, variable manifold intake engine and probably auto-sliding door...

Hope it's true...

But I reckon KM Stream will be in the range of 80-90k based on current COE price.

They will probably slot in between Civic 2L and Odyssey for pricing...

Which will be at least 15k more expensive liao...compared to Mz5...

Not sure leh...maybe KM can give a surprise and knock PI out? In terms of specs and price.

Anyway...competition is welcome, most benefit is customers, good thing to note is more cheaper spare parts.

Japan launch the minor update with better engine, 5AT but so far no news that it is coming to SGP.

Or you have insider news?

My #1 consideration for my next mini-MPV (2.0 L and below) is the rear aircon.

Currently I am driving a 2.0L G1 stream and though I applied one of the highest IR-rejection screen, the back row is still an oven for long time on a hot afternoon without turning on the rear AC.

Never had a good impression with KM; I seemed to know more than the SE who sold me the stream, the service always cost a bomb, and their parts are expensive. So with them not bringing the 2.0L version there is no more reason for me to buy from KM anymore, right? [:|]

Can after-market service add a rear AC to Mazda5?

current Mazda 5 get about 10-11 km/l. Stream 1.8 can get best at maybe 12km/l so the diff is not that much.

New Mazda 5 engine in Japan suppose to give better FC too.
