Why are these two highways so under-used ?

My parents live in Tampines. I travel along Tampines Ave 10 frequently, since it was a new rd until the congested rd it is nowadays.

 

Frankly, I hardly use that flyover unless I'm travelling to Ubi from Tampines. It's easier to go to Paya Lebar using the PIE from Bedok Reservoir coz there're so many traffic lights in Ubi and it's congested except for night time.

 

tat's right. Ubi/eunos area is really congested. i prefer to use PIE too.

I do use the Telok-Blangah/Pasir-Panjang highway from my office at Beach road to Alexander road. Very good, but always looking ahead for candid camera cos I travel at abt 80-90km/h. Drive too slow will fall asleep there.

Me too. It is a god-send - I use it to travel from Shenton Way where I work, to home in West Coast. Fantastic highway with very little cars and now I no longer have to go on the AYE.
