Can anyone recommend me some In-car surveillance camera systems?

I want to be able to record video when i park or driving. Front and Back.

u can DIY your own 12V system from parts bought off the shelf in SLS/SLT...

 

but how r u going to record it? CD-R?

there are alot of standalone dvrs that record direct to hard disks, using 12v DC. I'd use HD DVRs if not for the substantial power drain when the car engine is off. But this is good for recording car journeys.

Either i DIY to built this system or i get someone to do it.. now it boils down to the cost involved.. hmm

 

Another question, what can we do if we really caught someone vandalizing the car on video?

Will the police do anything?

i'm also trying to DIY car surveillance too, not everyone is blessed with friendly neighbours.

 

Anyway to do DIY car surveillance, not that easy.. need some electrical n electronics knowledge..if not then be prepared to fork out more than $1k for a 4 camera system for professionals to do it for u.

 

If wana record car journeys only n not record when the car engine is off, got much cheaper solutions available.

Hmm the main problem is the battery and recording media
