New vios.

Hi everyone,

 

I just booked a Vios 1.5J (M) from BM. Would need some advice on what items (eg: spare tire? wheeljack? toolkit? anything?) to look out for when I collect my car (I am a complete noob!)

 

Apologies if someone else had posted a similar query before. Just refer me to the location if it is possible. Thank you!

They will have a checklist for u when u collect yr car. yr SE will check with u on the spot

i was offered $688 for the leather seats.is it worth it or shud i get it done outside?...my package doesnt haf LS for the J model.

You might be able to get it cheaper outside, with more colour variants perhaps. But I went with it. I was initially offered $888 for the leather seats though. I think currently all the J's for Vios will not have the leather seats.

 

By the way, did you book yours at Borneo Motors? Did your Sales Engineer offer you any rebates? Mind if we share information?

 

I was offered $500 and $1500 rebates from the financial and insurance package, plus an additional $2000 rebate (some sort of 'early bird' rebate).

i got the same discount as u.the only ting i failed to persuade him was the ls...lucky i didnt took up his initial offer of 888 for the ls.if the price outside isnt tat much dfferent,i might as well get it done at bm to save the hassle....so do u intend to spruce ur car?

Sorry, here's a noob question: does a new Vios come with free mats or carpets or do we have to get them separately?

Toyo is right, the SE has a check list and need you to sign to confirm they has explain to u even how to operate the HU. just note the Wheeljack is underneath ur passager seat. hard to take out.,

the things are there. but bro pls take note when u collect car. if possible check ur 3M solar film if its done up properly as normally we look for big big items. my left rear window has a 5cm scratch mark which i be changing at 1k scv.

my friend who is trading his Vios for MAzada gets body value ard 4k. but MAzda offer is usually higher than BM

i feel the price is ok considering e trouble of going elsewhere to do which may save 100-200.

mine has small "bubbles", which I'm not sure if I should be ignoring for the time being.
