Wah kaoz... I somehow knew u guys were going to say that...

Anyway, u all roughly know I work in town, and today my tuition at night is in the central west areas as well.

Took a long while to scrutinize the car, almost 2 hours, then checked tire pressure at the Shell station nearby and pumped up the tires too.

Just register a nick at VOGS first, then attend their meetups to become a verified member.

The best part when I got to the collection centre was that I was initially not allowed to enter at all.

Then another best part was I didn't have Fashionista's number

Next was when the guard asked me if it was a guy or a lady who was picking up the car, and I went, erm...

- I dunno the person's name

- I dunno whether it's a guy or a lady

- Only thing is that the person knows my car

So after waiting around for a bit, the guard finally escorted me inside, scared I scratch any of the cars.

Good thing there was only one person collecting a Vios at that time and I asked the guy I saw there... "Erm, r u from MCF?"

And the guy whom I asked the question to went, "No, I'm not from MCF"

Then the lady next to him went, "Oh, you're Chromas is it?"

Wah liao... I was kinda embarrassed at that point, cos asked the wrong person...

(edited)

Thot Chromas showed his photo on MCF before?

I think his car looks more funky than him. Chromas is decent looking.

I think Fashionista reached there ahead of me by about about 15 to 30min. I got there later than the time she posted up.

The guards initially wouldn't let me in. Very good of them on the job thumbsup.gif

They would only let someone in if they knew the SE who was coming down that day for car collection.

They also wouldn't call the SE who was inside, in order not to bother them.

The same went that they wouldn't call the centre inside either to check.

As I was off work by that time already, I decided to wait around for about 30min to see if anyone came late or whatever.

Only much later, they decided to let me in as there was still only one person collecting a Toyota at that time.

When I got in there, then I asked who was from MCF.

By then, I think more than an hour plus had gone by already.

The SE was still explaining the warranty booklet to Fashionista.

Some oily marks on the leather seats were being cleaned off after that.

When I finally got to the car, I spent a bit of time checking a few of the following things.

- Engine oil level

- Coolant level

- Explaining the brake fluid and what the round cylindrical item was behind it (brake master pump)

- Checking electrical systems

- Check lighting systems

- Check rims for scratches

- Check radio and aircon

- Check alarm system

- Check fuse box

- Wanted to check wiper fluid spray, but owner didn't want to wet the car

Spent some time taking photos for the new owner, posing with the car, posing with her SE.

Finally satisfied, then signed the handover form and off to the nearest petrol station to fill up and check tire pressure.

That's why take so long

I had no idea she was a lady. Only when the guard said that there was only a lady collecting the car at the moment, I asked if it was a Vios. He had no idea either.

The guard said that most people collect their cars within 30min. It had already been 1 hour - 30min ahead time for her and 30min waiting time for me.

Thus I told him that it was most likely the correct person since usually, it's the first time car owners who take very long to scrutinize their new cars.

Then I kinda put 2 & 2 together and figured she might be the right person.
