Pisces69 6th Gear March 13, 2007 Share March 13, 2007 I also prefer to buy my own stuff & just give it to my mech to change for me. He only charge $20 for the labour. This way I can control the quality of the parts used during the service. If I leave it to them, they prob use the cheapest parts they can source to maximise their profits. I know it's not the cheapest, but his workmanship is good & I don't mind paying a few dollars more for that.
