Super4 Clutched April 28, 2003 Share April 28, 2003 Get the E200 Kompressor, caused my dad is driving one...Isn't it 2litres?...SDJ****?... But it's be better if u get the C-class cause is much lighter compared to the kerb weight of E-class... My uncle is drving the E240..Black somemore, but never tried his car..so can't comment... Road tax, The E200 is definitely cheaper... JUST my humble opinion... ↡ Advertisement

Assassin Clutched April 28, 2003 Share April 28, 2003 (edited) Hi Jonnie, The E200K is a 1.8 litre Inline 4 Twinpulse engine with a Supercharger. The E240 is a 2.6 litre V6 engine, giving it only 7bhp more than the E200K. Value for money option would be the E200K. Performance/reliability/fuel consumption are about the same for both models. I would suggest test driving both to get a feel of the engine response. The power output is almost the same for both models. However, the price diff between the 2 does not seem the justify the performance difference nor the equipment/furnishing provided [~S$16K difference]. The engine will sound quite different tho. There are 3 different 'equipment lines' for MB cars. Classic...usually brought in by PIs, and Elegance and Avant Garde models...brought in C&C. The Elegance is the standard C&C model equipment line..and comes with the walnut/wood trim and 16" wheels for the E-Class. The Avant Garde upgrade will give you the aluminium trim with 17" wheels and other stuff. Warranty wise...you will get 1 year manufacturers' warranty + 2 years from C&C, total of 3 years.. or 100,000km..whichever comes first. But you must send the car back to C&C for all major servicings in order to keep your warranty. You might want to check out another similar discussion between the E-Class and 520iA comparison. Modeldriver Neutral Newbie April 29, 2003 Share April 29, 2003 sounds like you need a jukebox ! One way is try putting your girl to pm school if she's old enough. My kids attending those 4 hour nurseries - come back home around 3:30pm, have a snack, bathe, watch some TV, have dinner, by about 9pm they shack out and sleep Sometimes though it backfires and they fall flat at 5:00pm and wake up around 7:00pm - and the die... won't sleep till real late
