hmm.. abit on the ex side, but not really carrot yet.

agar agar should be slightly cheaper for your 15inch as its a lower range tire.

as i got my bridgestone g80 185/65r14 for $75, and $105 for a goodyear revspec 195/55r15

as long as its not old stock, its ok [;)]

Is it A300(normal Aspec) or Aspec dB?

Surprised that famous shop will do things like that. [crazy]

The date of manufacture is shown on the tyre's sidewall and you should see something like this,

* 1007 *

This means the tyre was manufactured on the 10th week of year 2007, the first two numbers represent the week and last two the year.

i guess the shop could be too busy due to the overwhelming response? sometimes they can't give good service.

Off topic abit.

My Yoko A460 coming to about 50,000km. Is it almost time for a change?

Is it recommended to stick to this tyre or maybe better ones (of cos inexpensive) ones out there?

how long have u been using? most pple wld advise u to change after 2 years as the rubber wld hd been hardened. alternatively u can check the thread.

I'm currently using Falken ST115. quite cheap and its not a bad tyre

i guess its time to change. i had no experience with A460 so cant advise u much. i paid abt $90 for my 15" 195/55 profile Falken ST115. is this price ok for u? if not u can try cheaper ones like kumho

imho, it should be around the $85 per piece range, but i'm not in the position to comment as i never ask around for that specific model, and profile. [:)]

my previous ride was using 14"...and I could get reasonable good tyre in the price range of 65 to 70 dollars per tube.. they are the "Famous for poor grip in wet condition" Aspec DB and Bridgestone GR80. But for 15".. entry level will probably start in the high 70s to mid 80s region. I think tyre price seem to increase exponetially with each increment in diameter.

Currently I am looking for a replacement for my 15/65/195....most of the quote are in the mid 80s to 90s region....can anyone suggest better pricing ? Brand isnt important to me.

Yes, there are a few versions.

Yokohama Aspec, also known as A300.

Yokohama Aspec dB, also known as A500

Yokohama Aspec DNA dB, also known as ES500 and ES501
