Freebies to bargain for ( Some are factory fitted )

-Solar Film

-Paint Protection

-Reverse Sensor

-Remote locking

-Leather Seats

-Sports rim

-Cd Changer

-Fog lamps

-Petrol Vouchers

-Bodykit like Skirting

Best if you get you mother or wife/gf go with you, some girls are really good at bargaining. The older they get, the better they get too.

may be a little unfair to the original sales man.

but i believe that if u go to the smaller agents to check price again. this time round u bring ur cheque book along.

u ask for direct discount. maybe 1-2 k below wat the other fella offer. u juz tell them i wan to buy and whoeva can give me the price i wan i will buy.

very often the smaller ones are more willing to sell compared to komoco.

or u can juz ask for the list of freebies u wan and whoeva can give u that get the deal.

jus leave ur name card with them.

then if reali no one wanna take ur offer then go bck to the original sales exec.

From one of the brothers mentioned:

-Solar Film (Optional and can get quite cheap outside, ask them for dealer price)

-Paint Protection (No need, I have tried Glare, not useful)

-Reverse Sensor (I consider this compulsory item in standard package)

-Remote locking (I consider this compulsory item in standard package)

-Leather Seats (I consider this compulsory item in standard package)

-Sports rim (I consider this compulsory item in standard package)

-Cd Changer (I consider this compulsory item in standard package)

-Fog lamps (Optional, not needed as no fog in singapore. Not useful even in heavy downpour)

-Petrol Vouchers (Optional, good to have)

-Bodykit like Skirting (Optional, can get lower price outside)

As mentioned on my standard item list, which car on the market is without these nowadays??? You can walk away from the deal if anyone of them is not provided.

I would advise to request for them to pay for your 1st month instalment or ask for full year road tax or take cash.

These items can easily be installed from outside workshop at fraction of the price the AD is quoting you!!! Cos they also earn from such installations... [nod]

BTW, dun think GPS is needed in Singapore. You just need to head one direction, go straight and you will find your way out eventually... [smash]
