thats good..I will be looking at SUV in near future..but current ones are either too small (Rush, Terios) or too big (CX7, Murano, Outlander)..only Vitara fit my bill..hopefully this Qashqai can add in some competition..

it 20 cm longer for the last roll, the boot hatch is higher than the 4 seater one. The drive is the same but the 2L engine and transmission is exactly the same, it will be a bit more stressful if fully loaded. Current drive of the 4 seater, it is just nippy enough for a SUV.

Option 1: 4WD

Option 2: 2WD

Option 3: Auto selection of 4WD and 2WD

Absolutely agree. What does qashqai means ?? So hard to pronounce. Even TAn Chong distributors can't pronounce it properly. Some call it cashcar. Sunny sounds so mild, I dunno how to relate to cefiro and teana, sylphy sounds like some sex related disease. They should learn from Honda, simple and effective. Or just use alphabets or numbers la, if so hard to think of a name

Another name for this car is Dualis.

As well as European sales, Qashqai will also be exported from the Sunderland factory to Japan

The Qashqai is named after the Qashqai (pronounced [qaʃqaːʔiː]) tribe in Southwestern Iran. Nissan's designers believe that the car's typical buyer would also be itinerant in nature (Quote from Wikipedia)
