Jeffrey 1st Gear September 9, 2007 Share September 9, 2007 I was at AML and the price for the L model is about $79K; $81K for the LX model. Std list of accessories, i.e. sport rims, leather, etc. Final price will depend on the type of loans you take. Guaranteed COE for mid-Oct delivery. I'm actually tempted to save the $2K and go for the L model - as there is not much difference between the L and LX model. The main difference is the rear wiper; the rest are minor. ↡ Advertisement
Scubarod Neutral Newbie September 11, 2007 Share September 11, 2007 I'd agree that the Crossroad is over priced, I would think that the crossroad will be reasonable if the price tag was somewhere between $72,000 to $76,000. After some calculations with the current prices that I was quoted recently, the profit margin for the crossroad is in the vicinity of $16,000 to $18,000 (if I'm not wrong) I understand that PI's have a business to run and that they are not set up to be charitable. But knowing that there is such a huge profit margin is a real turn off from me.
Drive 1st Gear September 11, 2007 Share September 11, 2007 All info are just clicks away... nothing special. I find the Crossroad quite unqiue, but decided to wait a while longer, to see the market response, and as well as waiting for better spec model (should come by end of the year). The knowledge of SE counts too... Hmmm tempting if got better spec model. Got performance model like the Stream RSZ ?

Ahyoo2002 2nd Gear September 28, 2007 Share September 28, 2007 this one is pretty unique as compare to Stream. But no spare tyre, which maybe a problem for me as I travel up north very frequently. You have one in your showroom?
Guyver 1st Gear September 28, 2007 Share September 28, 2007 Well .... That's true .. always good to have stand by. Not yet here ... but soon ...
Sgnick 1st Gear September 28, 2007 Share September 28, 2007 Can we custom make spare tyre attach to the rear hatch? Like that can the hatch open? Legal?
Skyryen Neutral Newbie September 29, 2007 Share September 29, 2007 The rear door for the boot is not the swing 'door" type like the CRV and Grand Vitara. It will be too heavy to open if you fix a rear tyre to it...might as well get at Thule rack and mount the spare to the roof...at least look rugged. Jeffrey 1st Gear October 1, 2007 Share October 1, 2007 Unless you are a Hummer fan, it won't be love at first sight. After a few visits to the showroom, I warm up to the XRoad looks. IMO, the main draw of the XRoad is - a compact 7 seater SUV.
Alexius Neutral Newbie October 3, 2007 Share October 3, 2007 Same here...was interested because of the 3-row. My opinion went the opposite way after visiting to showroom. 3-row, which is damn tight is best reserved for kids and the booth space is a near non-existance.... The designer trying to stuff to much into the limited small
Jeffrey 1st Gear October 3, 2007 Share October 3, 2007 Yeah, but you cannot have capability for 3 rows, be COMPACT, and at the same time have good booth space. That's not physically possible. For me, it is a good compromise - 5 seater with large booth space; 7 seater when I need to ferry more people across the city.
Guyver 1st Gear October 3, 2007 Share October 3, 2007 Yes ... I agree .... It is just like PDA Phone ... we want big screen .. but we want the PDA phone to be small ... so a balance is important ...
