Just to share some confirm info and specs on the new airwave in case someone ordered the old model instead.

 

 

2 Type of model for airwave. "M" model and "Sky" model.

Launched on end of june.

 

1.5M model.

- comes with auto air-conditioning unlike the old G model.

 

1.5M HID Edition

- HID

- SElf Illuminance Type Meter

-Paddle Shift

-Front Door Water-Repellent Glass

-Keyless Key x 2

- Inner Door Handle Plating

 

1.5 M Style Edition

- HID

- SElf Illuminance Type Meter

- Paddle Shift

- Front Door Water-Repellent Glass

- Keyless Key x 2

- Inner Door Handle Plating

- Under Garnish

- Fog Light

- Leather Covered Steering Wheel

 

Regarding "Sky" Model

Sky comes with additional equipments as standard equipments, compare with M

- Skyroof

- 15 inch alloy wheels

- SElf Illuminance Type Meter

- Paddle Shift

- Leather Covered Steering Wheel

- Front Door Water-Repellent Glass

- Inner Door Handle Plating

- Luggage Space Under Tray

 

In other words, New "SKY" Grade comes with leather covered steering wheel and front door water repellent glass to previous "L-Sky"

I bought an airwave with skyroof recently, it's due for delivery 2 weeks later.

Just confirmed with my sales rep that it's the version with the auto aircon.

So is it the "Sky" model, or just 'M' model?

My sales rep is not sure...

 

More importantly, can anyone advise me if it also comes with leather-wrapped steering wheel?

My car is supposed to come with free leather seats, but I am thinking of getting an independent vendor like DK Tomo or Jackspeed to do up the leather seats + steering wheel for me if the car i am getting does not come with leather steering wheel.

sorry bro......from my understanding...no way u can mod...and even if can...not worth taking the risk la......but either way..also have air-con..only the looks is different lor...i rather take the M model then the G model bro....beside the digital aircon...+ other enhancement as compared to the old G model...end of the day....its ur prefernces....

I was also quoted 67k M model Style. No moon roof. + standard accessories given by most PI.

to be frank, underpower or not is very subjective. some may be driving a 1.0 car and feel this airwave power is good enough. but one who drive an accord may complain that this airwave is pathetic. best is to test drive it yourself. go around and see if any PI allow you a test drive, you may just be lucky on that day.
