Vit4wd 1st Gear July 25, 2007 Share July 25, 2007 There is a meaning to the numbers. Did you notice these diplomat no. plates always come in 4 numbers? The numbers represent the country they are from and their diplomat ranking.

Paddie 3rd Gear July 26, 2007 Share July 26, 2007 There is a meaning to the numbers. Did you notice these diplomat no. plates always come in 4 numbers? The numbers represent the country they are from and their diplomat ranking. r u for real? that's interesting... then this guy pretty low ranking lah? 5000+ Well not exactly. The first 2 digits represent the country, and the second two are the 'serial number' of the car. For example '20' is the French embassy, which is why all the Peugeot and Renault diplomat cars are S 20XX CD. This means S 2001 CD is the 'first' car in the French embassy, but it's not necessarily the highest ranking person there.
