Bluethorn Neutral Newbie August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 Hi, am needing to commute to NUH for work. Need to reach there by 8am or earlier. Does anyone have suggestions on which would be the quickest route from Tampines to NUH? via PIE or AYE? So far that I've tried, it takes at least an hour.... ↡ Advertisement
Rtth84 1st Gear August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 if you stay near the PIE then take PIE exit adam go straight turn right to holland(ulu pandan) turn left at north buona vista go straight follow signboards
Owen_fan 2nd Gear August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 I have travel from tampines to MAS building then to Gim Moh vs AYE, the most it take me about 40 mins to reach there so, you should be able to reach NUH in 30 mins time.
Loki Supersonic August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 "if you stay near the PIE then take PIE exit adam go straight turn right to holland(ulu pandan) turn left at north buona vista go straight follow signboards" No need to take Holland Road. If you exit PIE at Adam Rd exit, just go straight all the way, past Queenstown, Holland Rd etc - all the way to Normanton Park, turn right onto AYE towards Jurong and NUH is right there. Passion 5th Gear August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 Take ECP from Xilin Ave.All the way until NUS exit.NUH should be somewhere there.
Guyver 1st Gear August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 Hey, Since you need to reach before 8am .... then just take PIE -> Eunos -> Still Road -> ECP -> AYE -> NUH ...
Owen_fan 2nd Gear August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 Bro, I think go by Xilin Ave then ECP -AYE all the way will be faster I usually left my home at 7am & can reach Gim Moh by 7.40am after drop off my wife at Shenton way.
Guyver 1st Gear August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 Yah ... that route is the normal route .... maybe try PIE -> Eunos - Still road -> ECP ... and see how fast?
Bluethorn Neutral Newbie August 6, 2007 Author Share August 6, 2007 if you stay near the PIE then take PIE exit adam go straight turn right to holland(ulu pandan) turn left at north buona vista go straight follow signboards Thanks, have tried this route - takes at least an hour due to heavy traffic along PIE (tampines to eunos) and bottlenecks at farrer road, and numerous traffic lights. Sirbrian Neutral Newbie August 6, 2007 Share August 6, 2007 ECP then AYE then exit to NUH
Bluethorn Neutral Newbie August 6, 2007 Author Share August 6, 2007 Er, the jam to eunos is quite bad in the mornings, dun think that's the fastest way to ECP. Would be better to enter ECP via Xilin ave.
Bluethorn Neutral Newbie August 7, 2007 Author Share August 7, 2007 thanks everyone for your suggestions. the ECP route is the fastest.

Bluethorn Neutral Newbie August 7, 2007 Author Share August 7, 2007 If i go via PIE-->adam-->holland rd-->north buona vista rd, it takes an hour due to the jam in the morning (between 7.20am and 8 am). Not that i dun want to drive any faster, but I might end up on the roofs of other cars.. :P
Exowraith Neutral Newbie August 8, 2007 Share August 8, 2007 I was think braddel all the way but you were staying tampines. going through kaki bukit will be quite a bottleneck. I think ECP would be a better choice over PIE. Xilin ave. ↡ Advertisement
