At what mileage need to change clutch?

engage gear is ok ... only some time when wanna remove shift from gear 1 got abit diffcult.

 

any way to check if need to replace clutch ?

I went to check for bad fc while test drive mech said my clutch finishing soon cause need to release higher and when pick up rpm move faster then the speed it should.

can clutch free pay be adjusted?

i hear 1 of my friend driving proton wira his clutch have not change for 9 yrs he say just adjust the clutch free play will do.

normal driving should last the life of ur car..... just change ur oil reglarly....

free play can be adjusted ... as elfen stated regarding slipping else need not change... as for issue with trying to remove 1st gear... i will probably look at the gates of the box, synchros..

it depends on car makes right?

 

Usually for performance cars if you do play around with the car it will not last you that long right?

 

Mine is around 47000km only and i think it's abt time to change.

You are asking a too general question. Different type of clutch may result in a different lifespan

 

I believe when you free your clutch start to slip, it's time for you to change.

 

If you throw your clutch everyday and do burnouts, you clutch gonna go in a few months dude.

You can adjust the pedal height but if the clutch is slipping it means time to change liao. Nothing else can be done abt it.
