Mzrmazda3 6th Gear August 18, 2007 Share August 18, 2007 scary, now must think twice about PI Yeah Bro Don't wanna land up in a situation whereby spend ten of thousands of dollars liao and still need to get worked up over warranty claim during the warranty period ↡ Advertisement
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear August 18, 2007 Share August 18, 2007 (edited) I also got my car from a PI. Smooth process. Its about whom you buy from. As for warranty, don't expect the coverage to be like from AD and I think PI & AD price difference could be a few thousand bucks. Which part of the car can fail that will cost that amount to repair? Check the warranty booklet for details. Just to share, for my case, I stopped going back after my 1k servicing coz after going through the booklet, the item that is most prone to spoil is not covered (ie. absorbers)so I rather go do at my own preferred workshop. When the time comes to replace the absorbers, I just get the parts and find a workshop to install them. Of coz I bear the risk but then, if you are getting a tried and tested model, not much to worry about, the savings from servicing elsewhere should be enough to cover those parts that are expected to fail in time. Bro, glad to hear that you have got good experience buying from PI I believe for AT rides the most Ex part i believe is the AT gear box If suay suay got problem and IF they do not replace for you, it's not cheap That's why finding a PI is very important Of course, there are still PIs around and one have to do their homwework before committing Edited August 18, 2007 by Mzrmazda3
Nephilim 1st Gear August 18, 2007 Share August 18, 2007 Q: i read abt it last nite.. who's this adrain btw? what's his position in the company? or is he from the workshop? it feels like a 3rd party helping the workshop.. A: Adrain is a service advisor working in World Auto(PI Authorise workshop). For those who've seen Adrian himself, think he's more than just a typical SA there lah. Fabulous Neutral Newbie August 26, 2007 Author Share August 26, 2007 ehh bro.. When you say more than SA means what huh? Service Manager? By the way, waited for so long also no news about the claims, seems that the PI workshop trying really trying "siam"?
Nephilim 1st Gear August 26, 2007 Share August 26, 2007 When you look at the pic of the owner at their website: http://www.worldauto.com.sg/html/main/aboutus.html, don't you think Adrian looks a bit like him? But just my guess lah, I'm in no position to confirm. As for the warranty/claims, seems like their usual style is must PM this person that person then they settle with you one by one, thus avoiding having to announce anything publicly. Like a lot of dirty linen cannot show the world like that ↡ Advertisement
