Apollo 1st Gear August 21, 2007 Share August 21, 2007 problem will lie with the driver side. signal is normally taken fr there. assuming the level arm is working properly then it is an electronic problem tie to certain soleniod at driver side. best is replace the central locking mechanic then trace fault http://www.singtech.com.sg/ccls.htm

Laoahpeck Neutral Newbie December 20, 2008 Share December 20, 2008 Sorry, I had tyo dig up this old thread and post a question. Found that this particular thread comes closest to the problem I'm experiencing. Hope that some of the seniors here can assist. I am driving a 2004 Camry. 2 weeks ago, my central locking system went haywire. Using the remote, I can activate the alarm (to activate and deactivate). However, the central locking system can only lock the car. To unlock, I have to manually unlock the driver's door using my key after I have deactivate the alarm, then climb in and manually unlock all 4 doors. The central locking system can centrally lock all 4 doors. The only problem it has is unlocking. I was told that the problem may lie with one of the chipset and the cost is about S$600-$700 to get it replaced. This is pretty steep and I was wondering if any bros here have advice and lobang for me. My thanks in advance... ↡ Advertisement
