Memory Neutral Newbie August 31, 2007 Share August 31, 2007 High CG? no. no. Traction Contrl Traction control deals specifically with lateral (front-to-back) loss of friction during acceleration. In other words, when your car accelerates from a dead stop, or speeds up while passing another vehicle, traction control works to ensure maximum contact between the road surface and your tires, even under less-than-ideal road conditions. For example, a wet or icy road surface will significantly reduce the friction (traction) between your tires and the pavement. And since your tires are the only part of your car that actually touches the ground, any resulting loss of friction can have serious consequences. Traction control works at the opposite end of the scale from ABS

Dwoon 1st Gear August 31, 2007 Share August 31, 2007 This is the problem with SOME people who drives a Wish or Picnic....they think it is a sports car. I have encountered MPVs such as Wish and Picnic going at 160 km/h. I just wonder can they brake in time? A MPV is designed to carry more people but not for speeding. It can eventually reach 160 km/h after some cruising but doubt it can stop as fast as a car design to travel fast. Many times people mod their cars and pushed it to go fast but they forgot the crash worthiness of the car remains same - they won't survive a crash. My colleague who drives a stock WISH and drove up with me to Penang, managed to do 190km/h with 3 adults & 2 kids and with the rear loaded with barang. I'm quite surprised that the 1.8 ltr can go this fast..... its actually quite powerful considering its size and engine capacity.
Smiley Neutral Newbie August 31, 2007 Share August 31, 2007 i was doing 160 along ecp in my early twenties in my brother's 1980 honda accord. 10 years down the road, i m going at max 120. usually 100. as we grow old, we appreciate life more, or maybe afraid of death more. your friend will grow up. Nullifi3d 4th Gear August 31, 2007 Share August 31, 2007 Just finished field work with my colleague at choa chu kang, head back office in the east So he took KJE towards TPE, crazy Farker hit 170km/hr in his lowered, slightly modded White vios, similar to the picture attached! Lost my balls once I step into his car! Still trying to find it! Think vios no matter how lowered or soup up, it's not meant to do 170, honestly, it felt like 270km/hr, as if taking off into the air! Told him to slow down and fark him up, all due respect to all 22 year old drivers out there, but 22 year old is young, dumb and full of cum. I mean I was like that too, at that age I was creating so much havoc with my ZXR. Old fark like me cannot take it, please....to all vios drivers, dont try, it's not worth it. Die la batter. Serious. Why waste valuable space on the road with idiots like him.
