is the turbo charged done by Low Motor trustable?

As i only know him and Autodesign is doing.

 

Autodesign offer over 5K for 1 year guarantee ( Origin USA)

 

LOW MOTOR offer Over 3K for customised.

I dun trust ADM for such work. Silvester may be experienced, but his workers is not.

 

For LowMotor, Turbo Low has been around for ages. He has done on many many model so he is trustworthy, however his charges are expensive.

 

There are also a few other workshops that does TurboCharging.

 

Ask around, I am in no position to recommend any, sorry.

I am also thinking of TC my car but have a few questions and will appreciate if anyone out there can clarify my doubts.

1. For TC, how do we submit to LTA for approval?

2. If LTA approved, whats the impact on the insurance?

3. If TC without having LTA approval, what are the consequences? Fine,car detained??

AFAIK, LTA has never once approved aftermarket TC setup in its entire history.

 

Read the guidelines on the requirements on aftermarket TC at www.onemotoring.com.sg. After fulfilling all their requirements (getting your principal to approve i.e Nissan, Mitsubishi, Toyota etc), you might as well give up, or not submit the papers at all.

TC a stock wish? ... dangerous bro...

1. LTA

2. Engine and accessories will die prematurely (unless Mr. LOW help you consider these issues)

4. Wish is not designed to be fast bro... save money and get a TC car.. now COE so low.. that is a better mr. LOW

Turbo Low is very good in turbo n fast car, but really abit expensive lor. most importantly is he dun anyhow fix it n he really look onto every individual things to make sure it safe for the driver after install the turbo...
