Fisher_man Neutral Newbie September 11, 2007 Share September 11, 2007 try those in sungei kadut. then again, its pretty hard for a scrapyard to be organised since they need the space to bring the cars in and strip them bare. not to mention to have space to keep all the loose parts. i have been to those at woodlands industrial park. all look pretty messy. some even ask you to look on your own and check with them for price once you find what you want. hope this helps. Kelpie 2nd Gear September 11, 2007 Author Share September 11, 2007 1. Do you know of any reputable scrapyard at Sungei Kadut? Do they operate on office hours? How about weekend like Sunday? 2. Do they welcome walk-in customer in general? Thanks. Regards,
Fisher_man Neutral Newbie September 11, 2007 Share September 11, 2007 hi bro kelpie, not sure whether which is more reputable.i guess they should be all about the same. should be open during office hours. i go there mainly on saturday mornings. i dont think they open on sundays. they are pretty friendly. just approach them and tell them what you are looking for. they will tell you have it or not, or show you where to find and look for it on your own. Kelpie 2nd Gear September 11, 2007 Author Share September 11, 2007 Thanks man. Where exactly are those yards? You mean those area near that natural reserve park or something like that? Is it those near the one and only hawker food centre? Regards,
Fisher_man Neutral Newbie September 11, 2007 Share September 11, 2007 one is near to the railway tracks, 2 lanes road leading to the hawker food centre. if you go from turf club, its on the left turn just after the railway track. go into a small lane and you can see a scrapyard there. another one will be at sungei kadut drive, near to the industrial estates. manage to locate one on the map. http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel...level=5?195,242 good luck on your findings.
