These 2 cars are in different league .... what to compare ?

Unless your asking if Legacy is worth the extra $$$

If money no object, I definitely go for Legacy

Legacy wagon:

1) Faster

2) More space (if you have compared them side by side, you will know)

3) Huge sunroof

4) Low centre of gravity

5) Easy loading

6) More performance potential

7) SI Drive

8) Paddle shifters

9) Better ICE

10) Looks better (subjective, but I'm guessing most people will feel the same)

Forrester:

1) Cheaper

you are right bro [thumbsup]

just how i feel the same, [thumbsup]

but i am the type with hard driving, afraid LGT wagon couldn't take the terrain ard my neighbourhood. [nosebleed]

check with st pow. forester has more stocks to mod, eg.exhaust, coilover, ecg

but LGT wagon exhaust has to indent (LGT saloon yes), coilover indent, ecg graphic chart still not reveal to outside yet.

i like LGT wagon in terms of space(bigger than forester)

interior more class [smash]

exterior more smooth(aeromatic) [drivingcar]

extra $25k you can get these. [knife]

but can't mod it,even BMS also relunctant to promise anything. [rifle][rifle]

If you can afford it, go for the LGT wagon.

It's a twin scroll setup as compared to the Forester. Can do all the usual mods.... but parts are more pricey. The set back in terms of power mods is the small scoop which limits the size of I/C..... unless one goes for FMIC.

As you also mentioned, if you go onto dirt tracks/roads or travel frequently over poor road conditions (eg. malaysia).... then the Forester's suspension setup might be more ideal.

Also, the twin scroll turbo setup means there is very little lag....

the intercooler is basically an "air to air" radiator. It helps to reduce the temperature of the pressurised air (by the turbo) before going into the engine.

OT a bit.

This morning around 7.30am from Mandai Rd to U Thomson all the way down AMK Ave 1, one white 2.5l LGT (saloon) whacked all the way, siam left right cutting in and out. (Was never bordering reckless but I wouldn't do it [blush] ). I was behind because of the traffic condition, she couldn't go full blast so I had her in my sight along the whole way, sometimes directly behind her [sly]

Yes, lady driver, plate SGS xxxx.

If you're here PM me, would like to meet you. If anybody knows the lady pilot also PM me if want to keep privacy. [inlove][nod]

Apologies again for hijacking this thread.

I guess single scroll ain't that bad. Single scroll can turbo to higher rpm right? also with the increase of 0.5l, the latest 2.5GT should be able to slightly compensate for the turbo lag.
