Fishbowl 2nd Gear November 20, 2013 Share November 20, 2013 I recently butt itchy see people got good reviews on Bosch wipers. Bought one set and try.. IMHO, worst than Crystal brand wipers.. The Bosch I used, judders after 10mins when of use in rain... as though it "overheats".. must let it cool down and then on again.. anyone knows where I can still find Crystal wipers? Hmmm..I just change my stock wiper with a Bosch frameless wiper. My stock wipers leave streaks of water across my windscreen but the Bosch ones clean up my windscreen very well, no streaks at all. Cost me 50 bucks tho. ↡ Advertisement

FYI leaving streaks can happen to any brand of wiper, it's just a matter of time & usage. Best way to maintain the wipers is to keep the windscreen and the contact surface of the wiper clean. Just use water and a rag to clean the wiper's contact surface. Buying the cheapest wiper available will do the job. You buy those $50/pc is just marketing gimmick. Buy as cheap as possible, worn out just throw. Be it $10 or $50 after 3-6months you will have to change them. So why spent extra? New wiper of course dun leave streaks. LoL... Important thing to take note is not to activate your windscreen wipers when it's dry. Make sure you spray water on the windscreen surface. Dun spoil your wipers prematurely. I cant understand some pple pay S$50 for a wiper n it spoil within a year? Their wipers are being karmatised due to inconsiderate usage to spray wiper fluids at motoryclists and other weaker road users like cylists and pavement walkers. Ornitorfoo.....
