The female staffs are .. ok serious now, i was with Dr Yap who is quite friendly(sorry, i forget the full name). The atmosphere is good and the staffs are very very friendly also. They tried to make you feel at home. But I wish they had small bed instead of armchair for me to rest after surgery. will be going for my review today. hope everything is okay.. advice is dun go and find all those lasik related video to watch before surgery.. some people may freaked out. just a bit amazed that i can see immdiately after the surgery.. but vision was misty. but all will be gone after a good sleep.. BoneStock 5th Gear October 31, 2007 Share October 31, 2007 how much did you pay? Heard those above 40 may still need glasses eventually because of aging related symtoms? true?

Qpik Supercharged October 31, 2007 Share October 31, 2007 To TS, nothing against Lasik. Just using yr thread to post some thoughts & observations. I did consider if not for the fact that when one's age, Lasik also cannot help. But, a question for everyone to ponder upon. To me, the seller must be using the product in order to convince pple to use it. So, I observed that most Lasik surgeons wear glasses & they are not that old. I mean seriously, if it is good, then why are they not doing it? Is it because they cannot trust other surgeon or what? Then, I've got frens who done it & they told me that it is not like they are getting 6/6 vision. They still hv to use glasses from time to time. Therefore, should one go for Lasik if the desired results might not be what they claim to be?
Frankloh 1st Gear October 31, 2007 Share October 31, 2007 mei mei there very friendly, But dunno I suay or what.....when I went for the lasik at LSC, both my eyes needs enhancement. (Dr Yap) Original: L:750 R:600 After: L:175 R:150 Enhance: L:6/6 R:25 But before chosing LSC, places I enquire told me enhancement is a rare case. Though enhancement is free, but you need to pay for the medicine and consultant fee which is about 100+ per eye. Now promotion is 2years free enhancement instead of 1year. (mmmh maybe their rate of enhancement is very high!!!)
Loki Supersonic October 31, 2007 Share October 31, 2007 So, I observed that most Lasik surgeons wear glasses & they are not that old. I mean seriously, if it is good, then why are they not doing it? Is it because they cannot trust other surgeon or what? They don't trust the procedure. You are right in that most Lasik surgeons, as well as most eye doctors/surgeons do not get Lasik done themselves. I thought about doing it, and was prepared to go through with it but in the end, decided to just stick with my contact lenses. Although the success rate is high and its been around for many year, it is still surgery to your only pair of eyes.
Beei 1st Gear October 31, 2007 Share October 31, 2007 So, I observed that most Lasik surgeons wear glasses & they are not that old. I mean seriously, if it is good, then why are they not doing it? Is it because they cannot trust other surgeon or what? because Lasik surgery has a slight chance to lose their best vision acuity.. Lasik Surgeons cannot afford to lose their best vision acuity else how to perform operation..
