Volvo S70 T5-R

I remembered Gavin told me there are only 2 [angelic] (used to be 3) T5-Rs in Singapore. I saw this 'Q' plate T5-R in Shaw Centre carpark, is that the other Turbobrick? Or could it be a poser?

 

The owner looks quite middle-aged, and the car looks stock. How to tell the difference between the NA S70 and the T5-R?

There are only one known REAL S70R in singapore but recently we saw another one of the same color. So that makes two S70Rs.

 

There's no such model called S70T5-R, I made that up for my customized brick

 

There were 15 850T-5R brought into Singapore in 95-96 period and 5 were light yellow and 10 were black. Those were da bomb!

 

The way to tell a NA S70 from a Turbo S70 is the stock exhaust pipe, the NA one has a oval tip screwed onto a smaller 2" pipe (very obvious) whereas the turbo models has the same oval tip but it flushes with the exhaust pipe.

Wasted... I was there for 5 days, only noticed the S70T5 on the last 2 days. The 'T' stands for Turbo right?

I think the NA also has the 2.4 badge on the backside.

If U saw a S70 then there are only these models in Singapore:

 

S70T5 2.0 - 225bhp

S70T 2.0 - 180bhp

S70 2.4 (NA) - 170bhp

S70R (big daddy!) - 240bhp
