Royal Racing engine oil

A guy over at other forum is promoting the Royal Racing Synthetic oil. Never heard Agip has any development with SPC leh. Anyone knows about the quality and performance of this oil? Could a $34 oil be 'on par' or even better than those branded ones? Share your views.

Hmm.... this is amazing.... but would be good if someone can test it out.... the real test.....kind... so Lester... do u think u can spare some time to do some test in your lab on this cheap & good synthetic oil? or can u comment on this?

In a laboratory, unless there are certain properties that you wish to determine, otherwise there's a 101 tests you can do to that sample and we do not know whether it's in conformance to the advertised standards on the bottle. It's not like you want to find out how much of water content or a elementry content in the oil. You'll need a list of tests in conformance to the standard/s in other to determine whether the oil meets specs.

 

Another thing is since the ad indicates that the oil meets these standards, it'll meet these standards. The only thing left to determine is to introduce into an engine, run it and see how the engine internal wears. In this case, I think Icannot be of any help. Sorry.
