Has anybody heard of Maragoni Tyres especially the zeta liner in their tyre range? This tyre is rated highly in the UK websites and they rate it higher that the Toyo proxys but at a lower price range.

Check out their website: http://www.marangonityre.co.uk/Zeta_Linea....ID=2&Level2ID=2

I wonder wheather there is any existing distributor in SIngapore for these tyres here.

Looks good and I like Italian. Don't know much about it except they do make green and red tires too. Do give a field report if you get them. I am tempted too if it was time to change my tires.

After browsing through the web, I guess there is nothing as exciting as the Mythos [laugh]. Not many reviews out there and some are in fact quite negative and disappointing. Common concern is "weight" and read about a "blown out (whatever that means?)" from a E-Class [laugh].

But its Ok, I will give it a try and change rim at the same time. Also having had good experience with the Italian Pirelli P7.

Probably will be driving down to get it installed later. Since no one is selling in JB, I guess it will be ok on the price ^_^ and there is no basis to compare prices.

Another thought is by installing a less common known brand, it will attract less attention too. Will let you know the feedback [cool] .

Regards,

Thanks! Prices comparable to bridgestones and Hankooks should be cheaper?

Hankook prices are always competitive right? I called in the afternoon and was told their 30% promotion is over but now is 20% promotion [laugh]. Their 17" RS3 is probably around S$230. Not bad for a max performance?

Hi all,

Guess what? I was so attracted by a design of a 18" rim that I forgo the Marangoni tyres, which the shop only have the 17" size. I ended up with the notorious 225/40/18 Dunlop Sports Maxx TT tyres [laugh].

What to do, support the Singapore economy lor!
