Newsman 1st Gear January 4, 2008 Share January 4, 2008 Lake View Credit Ltd @ #03-09 @ Ubi Auto Mega Mart. They take in at very low Admins / Commission rate. Just Sold my PARF Paper value $343 to them for a nett $319. A very sweet & smart Lady Jacqueline will certainly brighten yr day there. Good Deal & Great Service ↡ Advertisement
Verve 1st Gear January 4, 2008 Share January 4, 2008 congrats on getting a higher price than you wanted. but actually for bigger sum like 40k i think the commission will be more (percentage wise) so end of the day dealers are still dealers
Ahyoo2002 2nd Gear January 4, 2008 Share January 4, 2008 is it good? 319/343 is close to 7% leh. Most car PI quote me like 2%, but maybe can not compare that way?
Falc 3rd Gear January 4, 2008 Share January 4, 2008 9% cut Becoz of LTA admin fee i guess ... what's the cut before LTA fee?
Newsman 1st Gear January 5, 2008 Author Share January 5, 2008 The Service is Fast & Efficient . Think my next Car Purchase will be thru Lake View @ Auto Mart Ubi
Bigtoothpick 3rd Gear January 5, 2008 Share January 5, 2008 Actually, Lakeview gives 99% of the PARF rebate. But they charge you $20, out of which is $10 for LTA transfer fee. My rebate was $500+ so worked out to be just under 5% commission overall. Sounds more than reasonable to me
Bigtoothpick 3rd Gear January 5, 2008 Share January 5, 2008 (edited) hahaha sure or not... your next car from them... you fell in love with the lady is it .... but agree that they are efficient Edited January 5, 2008 by Bigtoothpick
Bigtoothpick 3rd Gear January 5, 2008 Share January 5, 2008 It really depends on your total paper value. For a few hundred bucks, maybe the dealer don't find it worth their while. If tens of thousands of dollars, then 2% is a lot of savings for them.
Newsman 1st Gear January 5, 2008 Author Share January 5, 2008 That 1% + $20 is very cheap . Lake V Credit good, fair & efficient services will win over lots of Customers . Not forgetting a Sweet, Pretty Face as a Customer Service Officer . This is a good, honourable & fair Biz practice . Consider current poor image of many other Car Dealers . This Is God Send .
