Moeykf Neutral Newbie January 15, 2008 Share January 15, 2008 haha. genting is basically the outdoor, indoor theme park and casino. if you wan golfing, you can proceed to awana, there are horse riding at awana too, u can check tat out. i got phobia for horses so never try tat. for food, go to ah yat restaurant in first world or genting palace at the old casino.....dont go to other food joints...u will regret! u can also choose to drive down to gohtong jaya for more restaurants...cheaper too. dun worry abt the steep slopes, wind down ur window and hear ur snail spools . the road up....starting is 2 lanes up/down, after awana is 3 lanes up. tap on your brakes to avoid overheating of brake pads and rotors. dun travel more than 100km/h downhill unless u got bbk. hope u enjoy urself in genting! Tohto Hypersonic January 15, 2008 Share January 15, 2008 I had also book for 2 night at Resort hotel during the Mar school holiday. Heard from friend that the newly renovated Resort hotel is very good. The deluxe room is much better than Genting room which is getting old. As for food, GohTong Jaya is a good place on your 1st day and last day, alot of resturant and cheap. If you plan to go during Mar holiday, better book now as a lot of room is fully book already. Vientogdi Neutral Newbie January 19, 2008 Share January 19, 2008 My advise, don't use their free parking... Use the paid parking, think is RM$15 or something infront of Genting Hotel. Self park in open air carpark. Safer.... But watch out, still got ppl looking at you... ↡ Advertisement
