maybe if we mass buy the outgoing A4 1.8T can get further discount...ask for 2.5% and 2yrs free servicing...get them to throw in the xenon headlights also

Conti like Audi go for 2nd hand much better on the pocket. Choose a low mileage one.

 

There are good audi/vw workshop outside so no need go back agent also.

 

BUT, reliability of VAG has never been worst, so be warn.

Trottle, what makes you say price will be lower this weekend? the lowered ARF? The audi sales exec told me last month that price for A4 will be 123k still. Last month was at 126k. But towards last 2 weeks they decided to let ppl have the car at 123k with the pre-reduced ARF, using higher paper value to attract hesitant buyers.. like me.

Went to test drive the car and tot the power was quite sufficient for Singapore driving. SE quoted me $124 based on reduced ARF and none other terms attached.

Did some calculation (based on 35k OMV according to the SE) and think their margin is around $30k or so which I believed is more than BMW.

 

Care to tell me who your friend's SE is? If it's $115 then I think it's a deal I really can't resist.

Yes 1.8t, power is definitely sufficient even for NS highway driving.

$115k is my own prediction becos there are about 20 units left.

However probably got no choice of colors at that price.

 

overall still a good car.

Wah guys, saw from another thread that 08 Audi A4 1.8T (DSG) will cost a whooping $171,000 !!!!!!!!!

 

But it will be almost as big as the current A6.

New A4 looks like a muscled up 3 series E90 from the outside (thumbs up)

but a slightly updated copy of previous gen 3 series E46 interior. (thumb down)

Audi is launching the MY08 A4 this 27 March at Ngee Ann City. Just got the invites..

Looks like some kind of fashion show cum preview of the new A4 (not really the launch yet). Not sure if we can get near the car, and have a look at the interior. But it does mean that PA/Audi has a unit stashed somewhere in Ubi or at the showroom. Probably you can ask your SE to show it to you. I have a feeling you will be seduced by the plush interior...
