Civic Type-R (FD2R) with fog light?

Do any FD2R owners here have foglights? My friend said that his Fd2R has them.

 

If yes, what are the bulb sizes?

 

Because from what I know, FD2R does not have foglights because of the oil cooler or whatnot.

When it comes to cars, when there's a will there's a way. So putting on foglamps is possible.

 

However the FD2R does not come with foglamps, and neither is it an option.

FD2R don't have fog lamps.

They only have Beams light. But it's an option. Locally fitted. They will drill hole on the bumper. If missed, ho seh liao.

Oh yes, FD2R has foglights - LED version.

The honda beam lights are not foglamps. They're daytime running lights. I can't speak for non-honda ones.

Nope. The light spread of daytime running lights (which are basically driving lights that are "always" on) and fog lamps are different.

 

I wonder what LTA's take on them are. Afterall they are not spot or fog lights.

Many such lights around nowadays e/g/ Audi. Anyway, from Honda's Japan website, they also claim better visibility under adverse conditions, so serves same purpose, but maybe not as well as dedicated fogs.
