hi...how much is a copper spark plug? what do i need to tell the mechanic? everytime i ask about spark plug and they keep pushing expensive ones to me.

tell them u want normal spark plugs. tell them your budget is $12 and if they can give you iridium for that price, go ahead. haha.

 

i changed spark plugs everytime i changed oil on my EP. comes to the same price as an expensive iridium/platinium plug, but i get fresh ones every 5000km.

yes...your theory makes alot of sense. i totally agree with you. recently my EP giving me quite abit of heaache. 1st...someone tried to break into my car...alarm went off whole night causing battery to go totally flat. 2nd...power window fuse goes off causing both front window to be unwinded whole night. 3rd...radiator motor gone. 4th...spark plug almost gone liao. don't know isit the yearly kind of problems or i didn't maintain it well. but most of the problems solved and of cause alot of money spend and lesson learn through sweat and blood.
