SGDROGEN Neutral Newbie September 7, 2009 Share September 7, 2009 Anybody using HHO hydrogen booster over here, It looks like quite popular in the west. It can help to burn your fuel more complete and reduce polution.
Smhomie Clutched September 7, 2009 Share September 7, 2009 Anybody using HHO hydrogen booster over here, It looks like quite popular in the west. It can help to burn your fuel more complete and reduce polution. sorry again another gimmick. problem is that you need a lot of water and big separator tanks to produce meaningful flow. This (kit) myth has been busted by engineering gurus in US. All kits sold from $99 to $6k do not work to give good results. A standard rated flow cannot accommodate the different engine capacities ranging from 1.1 liter to 6.3 liter. Brown's gas can work but only with the proper designed engine for its application. If you wish to start this sort of biz here, first get past CNG. This is your first market barrier. Next is engine warranty issue with distributors. True.. and to add on to that; if he meant using hydrogen as a fuel, then it would definitely work, but whether or not the engine needs modifications is another story. But if he meant producing hydrogen within the car from the engine via electrolysis, then it definitely would not work. Ignoring the slow rate of production of hydrogen gas from electrolysis, this system is no different from that scalar energy thingy and is a claim to a perpetual motion machine. engine powers alternator to break down water into HHO which powers the engine. not in this universe. Kr_toy 1st Gear September 15, 2009 Share September 15, 2009 Too light footer may not necessary mean lower FC. The engine could be labouring at low rpm. Need to find the sweet spot for your type of car. Generally, I find that prolonged holding of engine speed < 2K rpm for a < 1.6L car is usually bad for engine and cause bad FC. Agree, small engine has low torque. Too low rpm will cause higher fc especially on manual transmission. That's why Prius using 1.8 now

Letdoit Neutral Newbie November 14, 2009 Share November 14, 2009 (edited) by the way, how much is those nanoball and Broquet in package? if more then S$800 , preharps can consider piggyback. should be abt S$800 and confirm work. If u want to control by yrself, maybe emanage or AEM. I prefer AEM because 2nd hand can be found in cheaper price. All u need to buy piggyback & AFR gauge, during installation, ask tuner to set as default as stock engine will do. Very easy, set Fuel and air in percentage. example at 1000 RPM stock is 5%, u can set 4% for fuel saving, AFR maybe stock is 15.6 will be 15.7, if u want more power (bad FC) then set more fuel as long as don't hit 15.0 or below at idling speed. u can play around easily for air and fuel. WARNING : don't try add 10% extra fuel at one goal, add 1% and test drive. Don't too greedy. If too much fuel at high speed will have knocking sound. Try between 13 to 14.7 for NA car. Audionut98 Neutral Newbie November 23, 2009 Share November 23, 2009 I'm thankful for the sharing on this. I was about to commit to trying out the Nanoball, but it looks like it may not perform as expected.
Kb27 Supersonic November 23, 2009 Share November 23, 2009 90% of what you see on the market that claims to improve power or fuel consumption does not work....or aka snake oil. Those that worked are already build-in to your car that comes out of the factory. But being human, and its weakness for trying something new or tendency to believe in promises will make you want to part with your money to learn a lesson.
