I got it from PI. Currently only Apricar at AML bring the Cube in. Singapore only allow the 5 seaters, 7 seaters the factory-fitted tinted glass doesn't pass the light emission test. So all the Cubes on road are the 1.4 ones. [;)]

Thank you....currently there should be less than 10 cubes on the road. But i read that Tan Chong Motors might be considering to bring in the Cube some time next year. [:(]

Hi Punkie

Can feedback the service quality from Apricar? Thinking of changing my current ride but not sure which PI to go.

I know there is a thread on the list of recommended PIs but the serves only as a reference. I prefer to hear it from a satised or dissatised customer.

BTW the cube a unique car to have. Feedback the driving expeerience and FC to us. Lots of us would like to know more. Thanks

So far i am still waiting for my cube to arrive. The service from Apricar has been good so far. I was dealing with Mark, who is the boss of Apricar. And they threw in a lot of things in my purchase. 1st 3 servicing fully free, warranty of up to 150,000km or 5 years. And some other accessories. 1 bid gaurantee oso.

I have been reading up online about the cube and its FC, so far the FC stated on paper in Japan is 19.4km/l. But i believe on road will be around 14-15km/l, which is still relatively very good compared to alot of other makes of cars.

As the Cube community here in Singapore is very very small, and not many pple fancy it, so it will be good if those interested in getting the cube can start a meetup and slowly we could maybe form a sgcubeclub or something. One of the problems is that i cant seem to find aftermarket accessories & bodykits online for the cube. Very limited stuff that you can find online unless u have friends in Japan and they have sources to get it from there.

The wait till dec 08 is still pretty long, so in the meantime, only can wait and hope for more pple to join in the Cube bandwagon. [laugh]

Thanks for the feedback. Keep us informed if possible about the service quality of Apricar (from ordering to delivery process).

Yes I agree the cube design is one that is readily accepted in Japan but not so much in Spore yet. Parts availiability is also a concern.

I am driving a sunny now and I just spoke to my previous agent from TC to see if they are bringing in any models that can be compeititive to Honda Stream or Toyota Wish. But it is sad that TC does not have a answer to these models.

If they can bring in the 7-seater cube, I reckon it can appeal to drivers who has low MPV usage.

From what i understand so far, the 7 seater or aka Cubic, is not approve by LTA due to the factory fitted rear tinted glass. Furthermore from what i have read online, many cubic drivers say that the 3rd row of seats is actually pretty cramp. The cube (5 seaters) is 3730mm in length, and the Cubic (7 seaters) is 3900mm in length. The diff is only about 170mm more for a 3rd row of seats.

That why I say if the driver do not need to freqently ferry 7 people and for the occasional ferrying of 7 people around small Spore, should be sufficent but go malaysia forget it.

Also if TC is to bring in this model, they must priced it competitively enough to generate interest. Who knows TC might have nissan to have the glass change to bring in this model.

But recently they just brought in Qashqai, Teana and another model (Cannot remember). It is unlikely they will bring it in in the near future. So relax Bro. [cool]

What u said is true...travelling in a small country like SG shouldnt be any problem. If TC is to bring in the Cube and change the glass just to simply pass the emission test, then it actually change the outlook of the car already.
