Route88 2nd Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 This is a rip off to consumers, and garmen dont do anything abt it. Why can't they announce any price changes prior to price increase? Like public transport?
XLR8 1st Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 As usual, what's new. It has become a monthly affair.
Scenic98 Clutched April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 here we go again....crude now firmly in 117.53 this morning.
Rickster 5th Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 Its not that the garmen don't want to do anything. In fact, the very reason why the price rise so much is because of them in the first place. U think the oil cartels can have their way in a place so tightly controlled called sinkapoor?
Rickster 5th Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 (edited) I'd be happy if its a monthly affair. Its now a fortnightly affair! The past 2 price hikes and the current one is only 2 weeks apart of each. Edited April 22, 2008 by Rickster
Hiphiphoray 6th Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 Increase is good for them.......they get to tax more. Of course they tiam-tiam lor. In fact, they are laughing all the way to the bank. But hor, they will say never earn rah, its just a small amount....blah blah blah. Try to smoke us. Just like they claim ERP is taking in less money then road tax!!!!!! What CRAP!!!!!! XLR8 1st Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 It happens la. There was an incident which the "Cake" shops increase price together then kena the anti competition law thingy. I wonder why petroleum companies never kena before. One raise, all raise. Knn poor citizens go which station also same price.
Rickster 5th Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 Yea, the more the oil cartels earn, the more the garment get to tax them for their profits. That is on top of the petrol tax and GST they are alrdy enjoying. No wonder the garment is so protective of the oil cartels. Coz they are happily doing triple taxation on them! Rickster 5th Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 For my usage, installing a CNG will take me at least 2.5-3 years to break even...by then i might not even be driving liao
Ghostrider 3rd Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 Its the "Huat Quay" thing rite ? That is so stupid...they increase price together is call anti competition or something they term it....but petrol company increase one after another...is "adjustment to market" Simi crap....no wonder pple chose to escape from the toilet. XLR8 1st Gear April 22, 2008 Share April 22, 2008 Yaya, the Huat Quay! They call it anti-competition law. Maybe petrol companies got hidden secrets which we dont know? I agree on the toilet escape scenario.
