Hi All,

Yesterday I went past the speed camera on the BKE at 99-102 kmh. The camera never flashed, so do you think ill get booked? Even if i did get booked would it be a warning or a summon?

i think got a few reasons..

1. ur speedo not accurate(changed rim n tire)

2. u are on the lane furthest away from camera..

3. no film (possible on speed cam?)

[rolleyes]

Thanks, did the warning letter go on your relatives driving record? Did your relative get caught by a fixed camera or the officers holding the hand held devices? Also how much was the limit exceeded?

True, maybe the speedo not accurate.... any idea how much it costs to check that at the workshop? Also I was in the fast lane (lane closest to the camera). I thought that the cameras were digital not film.

unfortunately, the letter/summons will be issued to the registered owner.

caught by fixed camera and he didn't know by how much but judging from the way he drives likely to be 90.

I checked but so far only got 1 summon for parking on double yellow lines. Do you know how long TP take to process camera summons? LTA can process the cashcard violations in 3 days.

Oh Thanks for the reply and info. Uh the car is a rental from a long term rental agency, so I guess it will be mailed to them right? Will they then tell the TP that I was driving and would the TP then mail me the letter or summon? Or will the "owner" of the vehicle do that?

Makes me feal better to note that people speed by 20 kmh and still get a warning.

Question: How do you miss a flash? I mean if it flashes and you driving by, its hard to miss right? Also don't the cameras take 2 photos?
