Buy those

1) black cable straps ....

2) a sticky heat-resistant tape.

3) Aluminium coil (the easy to bend type)

Coil the fuel line with the aluminium where u intend to put the magnet. Magnet will stick to the aluminium naturally. Tape the magnet and coil together to the fuel line, then use the straps to strap em up. [nod]

For the magnets I installed last time, I spliced the magnets with rubber splicing tape (stretchable ones) then cable tie a pair to the fuel line [;)]

Hi, I hear that the magnet has 1 side's "pull" stronger than the other side when the 2 magnets are place together right? So should the stonger side be place into the fuel or out?? confused.gif

1 side is pull and the other side is push.....i think SFM is using pulling while calski Ion is using pushing....correct me if i am wrong.

thank.....but i still don't really know what is this ALuminium coil...

Its a form of metallic wire .... that is bend-able. Cannot figure out a name for it but go to any hardware store and you can get it. Most of the time, you can use it to clear a choked sink [lipsrsealed][laugh][laugh]

What kind of magnets are you thinking off? So far, the one that I know and very strong is the one from hard disks. However, for th elife of me, I still can not rationalise how magnets can affect the fuel. As far as my chemistry lesson goes, fuel are just hydrocarbons. Magnetic fields should have no effect on it. So if ppl claims it works, question is how??

i also dunno the reason behind it....it think those hard disk magnet will lose it magnetic propertis inside the engine compartment because of the temperature......you might need to get something better...

Calski magnets repel - and are pretty strong, so the cable ties need to be quite strong to hold them together on the fuel line.

SFM has both. The ones that repel - but not as strong as Calski, and ones that attract - i.e. if you look at the picture on the back of the HotStuff magazine for June, that's how it'll look like if you leave it alone. I had 4 sets last time, the one that attract is supposed to be put closest to the engine, while the rest behind it.

[thumbsup]
