You get most power by having the correct A/F ratio and advance ignition timing.

 

If you want to save petrol, get your car tuned up to run lean under cruising conditions. But do take note of detonation.

it might work oni in carburettor cars but definitely not ecu cars; initially u might feel some chg but after next few drives ecu oredi made adjustments so lppl. oni thing is probably brake feel is slight better.
