Lucien Neutral Newbie June 4, 2008 Share June 4, 2008 Please state priority 1)Mileage? 2)Interior Room? 3)Design? 4)Upgradeablity?
Robo 2nd Gear June 4, 2008 Author Share June 4, 2008 (edited) hmm.... mileage of course the more the better 14L and above would be good... interior i guess its not really an issue cuz nowadays the interior all not bad.. design a hatch back in wad sense upgradeability?? as in easier or cheaper to mod??? Lucien Neutral Newbie June 4, 2008 Share June 4, 2008 (edited) Honda is easier to find mods. Fit has reasonable mileage. But Hondas are all cut throat priced. Toyota has good mileage as well. Mods are reasonably avail. Price slightly lower. Koreans are much cheaper. Mileage depends on "foot" Mods are beri hard to find. Mazda....erm.....ex$$, mileage..soso. Suzuki. Not really mileage looker. Space..er...can fit a bag I think? Mods? yes! cuz of SSS. Colt. Not bad mileage. Looks a bit eggy. Not really cheap either. But roomy? Yes. among all of them. Robo 2nd Gear June 4, 2008 Author Share June 4, 2008 not exactly looking for mods.. cuz its my gf who will be driving.. so i guess she wont do up too much.. i should change the air filter, tyres and get something like a voltage stabilizer... mainly is safety, mileage and handling......... Lucien Neutral Newbie June 4, 2008 Share June 4, 2008 Price a concern? Mileage - Toyota & Honda Space - Mit Rest...forget them.
Nicz Clutched June 4, 2008 Share June 4, 2008 Sry i posted in your old thread, didn't realise u switched. I drive a yaris and i won't recommend it. Its not really well built and the FC is not fantastic. About 11-12 km/l. Kind of expected it to be around 15 km/l since pple have been getting great FC for their vios and they use the same engine. btw, i voted yaris by accident. Sry. My vote is fit/jazz. Lucien Neutral Newbie June 4, 2008 Share June 4, 2008 Yaris is actually heavier than Vios. Anyways it all depends on foot. My hyundai accent can hit 13-14km/l and upto max 16.5km/l i don't see why a bigger engine yet same weight car cannot achieve my type o mileage. Nicz Clutched June 4, 2008 Share June 4, 2008 The sales lady told me yaris is lighter than vios and will get better FC. Got con by her. but i only have myself to blame for not doing enough homework on yaris. My yaris is auto. Your accent FC so gd cuz its manual is it? Robo 2nd Gear June 5, 2008 Author Share June 5, 2008 didnt know about the fact that yaris is more thristy than vios.. anyone know about the vitz.???
Lucien Neutral Newbie June 6, 2008 Share June 6, 2008 yes. manual. like i say go manual.
Lucien Neutral Newbie June 6, 2008 Share June 6, 2008 yaris i tried b4 friends fc 12km/l-13km/l vios 13-14km/l all autos.
Lucien Neutral Newbie June 6, 2008 Share June 6, 2008 BTW hatchbacks will always be heavier than sedan. Due to additional safety beams added to the rear. Unlike sedan, u got a boot to act as crumple zone. Hope it helps.

Jl1500k Clutched June 6, 2008 Share June 6, 2008 Go for Fit/Jazz 2008 will not go wrong one. Unless you want sedan boot space like Latio CVT.
Robo 2nd Gear June 6, 2008 Author Share June 6, 2008 tot of but heard my the fc quite jialat
Robo 2nd Gear June 6, 2008 Author Share June 6, 2008 heard the opening price is almost 70k. i hope im wrong...
Miles 4th Gear June 6, 2008 Share June 6, 2008 latio? 70k? cannot be lah. anyway, for good FC latio not really a good choice. for built quality, good economy, drivability, space.... everything points to Jazz/Fit. But if you are after good handling, safety ,... then mazda2. Colt is a very old model. Yaris, made in thailand... from my test drive... everything feels very lose. Swift, nice to drive, but steering is eerily light. also whole car feels light and hollow. good looking tho. for me, i'd narrow down to only Jazz and M2. if money is not a problem ... buy jazz. will be a common sight on the road tho... but will be very easy to sell coz its very highly sort after. so, resale value will be high. ↡ Advertisement
