Good Car Loan to recommend?

anybody got any good lobang for loans? so far my PI has found me 2.38% with Hong Leong Finance, but with 1.5year tie in (ie. if settlement within 1.5 year gotta pay 1% of total loan as "administrative" fee)

 

also wanted to ask the bros here, is it standard for early settlement of loan eg. when selling car off, the interest rebate is calculated by method of Rule of 78 less 20%?

 

are any of the banks/finance companies offering early settlement using JUST rule 78 ie. without the "less 20%"? (I thought I read last time got.. not sure now got or not)

Rule 78 though is not supposed to be a must but is commonly and convienently added into the calculation of the loan. So this cannot escape.

 

As for the 20%, it depends on different banks as well as your car price. If it is less than 55k before COE. Should be able to get 1 w/o the 20% under the HP act.

mine's >55k. any banks confirmed don't have the -20% of the interest rebate for early settlement?
