Steering wheel not center.....Pls advise....

I got my ride for about 2 weeks mileage is 2000++ now. Yesterday I notice my steering wheel when car going straight it is a bit off to the right (about 2 degree like that)

 

Then I check the tyre pressure all round but is ok. When I got it no problem steering is straight all the way till yesterday become like that. Never hit any bump or kerb. Why issit like that? Issit normal? Can I go and ask them check the alignment? Under warranty got cover 4 wheel alignment check?

Bro go back to your agent and request them to perform a test drive with you and centralised your steering wheel if required. From your case should be very min adjustment only. BTW which agent for your ride?

Your prob;

Mayb due to road condition. To accommodate water escape, most roads esp hiways are tilted to the left or right. This results your streering pulls to either way

 

Try few more days at a few straight lines.

Since its a new car just go tell them when u go back for your servicing. Unlikely its alignment since it is still going straight and only the steer wheel is off centre. My car at times also like that. Could be due to several reasons. One of whcih can be the steering rod is off. Just have to do an adjustment. And for number of months my car also like that. Yours is 2degees (wonder how you measure...), mine was rather obvious but I boh chup cos my car alignment still ok, tyres' wear were even. Then when it was time for tyre rotation, I swopped it around and the steering is back to normal. Hahahahaa!

2 deg is very slight, almost no diff actually. If you can see it, then its prolly more then that. Mine is tilted to left 20 deg, its annoying at first, but I did not bother and got used to it. Makes it feel as if I can U-turn (right) more by 20 deg . I will prolly fix it the next wheel change though.

3 year old Kia rio hatch. 20 is not really alot. 90deg is right angle. 45 is half of right angle, 20 is about 1/4 of right angle....

Ask them to check WHEEL alignment AND STEERING alignment.

Just to update my posting. Went down to Khang today. They test drive my car and made some adjustment to my steering rod. Now wheel center liao. Was quite disappointed cos I tot they will do a 4 wheel alignment for me

not to worry lar, continue to drive, it will from 20 to 35 to 60 to 90 then to 148 to 188 to 270 to 300 then reach 360 degree and you got back the original setting
