Jubilong 2nd Gear August 30, 2007 Share August 30, 2007 Hi to all alfa owners, My warranty will be expiring soon so I am looking for a reliable workshop as i will not be going back to agent. I know there are a couple of workshops in sin ming specialising in Alfas, namely alfa sportivo, alfa city and city motors. I would like to solicit feedback on them in regards to price range, service standards, parts( Original/oem) they use etc.. any other input appreciated. Could PM me if not convenient to post your frank opinions...thanks... ↡ Advertisement

Felipe 3rd Gear August 31, 2007 Share August 31, 2007 is yrs sillyspeed? then i suggest Sportivo. heard good reviews on how they solved sillyspeed issues
Jubilong 2nd Gear September 2, 2007 Author Share September 2, 2007 Yes mine is the sillyspeed , as it will be due for a change in the timing belt which will also coincide with my warranty expiring thats why i will look outside. looks like sportivo is the one to go to... Jubilong 2nd Gear September 2, 2007 Author Share September 2, 2007 is it a malay guy who used to work for the agent? I heard there is a malay guy who is quite good with alfa servicing but just cant remember where..
Madsumm 1st Gear September 2, 2007 Share September 2, 2007 Go to Stamford in Lok Yang. Ex-Service person for Alfa is there. Rgds
Cpnfu Neutral Newbie September 2, 2007 Share September 2, 2007 Stamford does not hav the tool to change the alfa timing belt
Madsumm 1st Gear September 3, 2007 Share September 3, 2007 Hehe... Well, I personally don't think Euro Auto did a bad job either and their charges are pretty reasonable, tied with some warranty of the parts you change. Do consider it though. Alfa City has also one engineer who was from Euro as well. Rgds
Msimax Neutral Newbie September 3, 2007 Share September 3, 2007 Suggest u check out those Alfa workshops which have the Examiner. For Stamford Tyre, Macpherson outlet is also well-versed with Italian rides for mechanical issues. But there will be limitations due to no OEM parts & Examiner. Mzrmazda3 6th Gear September 3, 2007 Share September 3, 2007 Though i'm not driving a conti but would recommend Alfa Sportivo Have been there and feel that they really know your ride inside out Their towkay is a nice person whom is previously from the Alfa agent

Pepperorsalt Neutral Newbie September 4, 2007 Share September 4, 2007 alfa sportivo - they can do stock car, if u wanna mod, their knowledge not there yet. Pricing wise, depends on whether they like your face or not. alfa city - very good knowledge of alfa, good service but price on high side. but sometimes it better to pay abit more and have peace of mind knowing u'r in good hands. city motors - not sure as never went to them b4. my verdict, it'll be alfa city without batting an eye.
