People.

Think deeper and harder.

Try to recall the big investments oil companies have made in Singapore over the past few decades. Exxonmobil. Shell. Do you know how thankful our Govt is to have the biggest refineries in Asia, if not the world? DO you know how much investment $$$$ these oil companies pour into Singapore?

Then think: why should the Govt support alternative fuel and risk offending these big oil companies?

About pump oil price collusion. Lim Hng Khiang came out in public to say there is no price collusion. Oh, you mean his wife didn't tell him? Go find out the identity of his wife and which oil company she works for. I am sure she knows what is going on. But because of Lim's job scope, he cannot say the truth.

I don't think C&C/Daimler will bring A/B-Class NGT here. Face-lift limited to minor cosmetics and built-in Bluetooth.

Special Tax is to whack "dirty" vehicles, eg. diesel, so unlikely to apply to CNG cars which have cleaner emissions than even petrol vehicles.

Unless they change their rationale for application of Special Tax, like how they explain ERP.

They already brought in the NGT A and even advertised liao.

I always think that the Special tax is to plug hole, its very much a political move. I never take their explanation as true reasons.... its never the true reasons. Btw, I thot Special tax is clear enough to be imposed on CNG cars? even if they remain the exemption, how many years do u think they will remain? as long as such a thing is still there and that they do not commit in a more concrete decision, i think CNG ain't gonna make it at all, we don't even talk about the numbers of available kiosk that provides the fuel.... thats my 2 cents... [:)]

IMHO, anything about owning a car in this island, the gahmen will never ever give us a good life.

Have they ever so-called really have a better solutions or proposal on really improving the public transport? a lot of scholars but sad to say, lousy ideas! not that i'm anything better but i think if they want people to take public transport, they really really really have to think hard hard hard hard. all they think of is how to earn more money by squeezing us....

Damn cheap. Convert to SGD, around 0.29/kg. My cylinder maxes out at 10kg but the NGV compressors seem to stuff more in or maybe Petronas sells them in Litre petrol equivalent. So 2.90 can travel 200km! [shocked]
