Hey guys, this is not what I meant.

 

I said highlight it or alert interested parties to it. Not posting a new thread to it or hotlinking.

 

All these things must do subtly, mah.

 

For example, someone is looking for something close to what you are selling at classifieds. You ask him to search for your ad at the classifieds.

 

Eg: "Since you are looking for xxxx, you can check out my ad at the classifieds. PM me if you need more details." in some related thread or post.

 

This thread itself is considered blatant spamming already.

 

You cannot advertise your stuff on the main forum.

 

I know, not many people look into the classifieds maybe due to the lack of publicity. Then again, it is very irritating to find spam on the forum. People go to Amazon to shop not post on a forum. Likewise, people come to a forum to post opinions and stuff, not shop.

This is a good idea. I will sticky the wanted list since getting parts for this car might dry up completely.

 

For instance, if someone is looking for xxxx, post on the wanted list replying the person "I have one at classifieds." Or "So-and-so is selling at classifieds."
