MDIS has offer to students of Millennia Insitute in part-time Diploma Courses and should be reconised by the Gov. If not the school would not allow them to come in and conduct such diploma courses. My daughter currently studying at MI but she choose Newcastle Uni part-time course instead in Hotel Management....... next time she work in hotel we OT gang got special discount bo? Donut Supercharged October 5, 2008 Share October 5, 2008 i think many ppl dun really understand about foreign degree recognitions by stats board. first of all, each individual stats board has its own list of recognised degrees. they are all independent. that means Stats Board A may not recognise a foreign uni. Stats Board B and and the rest of Civil service will recognise it. so, there is no ONE answer to this degree recognition. as for yr wife, she should have checked with MOE HR policies first, before taking the degree course. the fault lies with her, not the Stats board. From my knowledge, Bradford is recognised by other Stats Board, and not by MOE...... and this applies to everyone who is studying for a course. The more serious one is those professional society such as Professional Engineers Board, Medical Board, Professional Accountants, CPA Singapore, Law Society etc etc......... if someones study a engineering course and end up realising its not even recognised by our Pro Engineers Board, he will never able to find a Engineer job in a good company. or worse, study a Law degree and realised its not even recognised by our Law society..... I am indeed keen if u can provide me with the names of your friends and also the ministry that they belong too. Case in point is my wife. She is with MOE. Nope, they do not recognize the Bradford degree. It has been a good 6 years of slogging with Diploma payscale. Hope u can furnish me with the data. I will be taking this up with the relevant authorities again. Quote BTW, MDIS is NOT RECOGNIZED by the gahment. My wife has a degree from Bradford... nope, it is worthless. There are others like FTC doing such courses right? My wife also planning to do the CFA course in a few years... She just got her CPA last year...
