good choice. To me there is only two color for Alfa. Red or Black.

May, June is a long wait..... I was told there is a shipment in march, April. Do check with yr se.

Again congret. Do join the aroc.

I think maybe SE don't want to over-promise things and maybe they just want to make sure everything is in excellent condition before delivery. I'd rather they promise me June and deliver on June or earlier rather than promising me someday earlier and fail to deliver on time. Nevertheless, I will still check with the SE coz I am really looking forward to my 159. :)

I went to view it. Rims are in terrible condition, the dashboard is dull and faded. Think owner applied products on it that caused it to be that way.

Must do abit of work to spruce it up.

Car gives you the feeling that its not taken care of at all.

My 6 year old DC5 looks fresher and more well maintained than it...

Looks like the black 159 (with the 18" horseshoes) on Sgcarmart has been sold .. the red manual one is still available.

I read from ao that have the sport pack 2, any pic of how the rims will look like? Also how is the cda?

Sport pack 2 contained mainly aesthetic addon, you will get:

- 18" 5 spokes matt horse-shoe rims (similar tothe 8C),

- red colored calipers (Just like the GTI is. still same size as per the std ones, no increase in braking power. actually, the current one with the silver with alfa wording looks cool)

- darker color interior trimming (still don't know what the diff),

- Blu&ME without NAV (but no bose speakers hor!!!)

This will burn a few k's in your wallet. Not sure if you really want it. Coz if it's 18" alfa rims that you want, you can pay about 2k to get the 7-spoke horse shoe rims which is very nice too. The rest of the money can mod the car, upgrade to brembo calipers. [cool]

I used to have CDA for my 147. psychologically, i feel there are increase in power. [laugh] but i do hear slight sound of air suction when i step on throttle (just like turbo charged car). BMC do have specific model for 159. I have checked with BMC and we need to use the generic model 85-150 and probable need to modify the piping to fit for 159. I don't like the idea as any modification (length, diameter) to the piping will affect the air flow speed and hence not be able to optimize the improvement as claimed by the manufacturer. I know some 159 owners installed it with some modificatios. I will probably put this on hold.

BMC is really very very good if installed properly. I'm not sure how senstive to airflow an NA alfa is but on TC-ed cars, BMC is performance mod well worth the money [drivingcar]

Do check out under bonnet of the Scirocco GT24! OEM fitted. [sly]

If that BMC is a direct bold on, I will consider fitting one, otherwise I give it a pass......

Thanks bro.

Was told that the sp 2 comes with thicker steering wheel, aka the GTA style and it's lowered. Not shure how it will look like. Guess have to wait till my car is here ... yap, I got the sp2 package. The most worried part is that I do not know how the rim will look like. If it is like the Bera S ones, then ok, else [bigcry]

As for the CDA, I have got myself one. Intend to place it where the stock filiter is (lower right fender), so technically, there should not be any change in the intake length. [rolleyes]

Just saw a beautiful red 147 reg SFN 64XX along AMK ave 1. Decked with carbon fiber front lip, side skirts, DTM exhaust. Big white serpent on the side after the rear window. Very tastefully done.

Wondering if the pilota is here in this forum. Would to find out if the bodykit is custom-made. Whether can I do for 159?

[thumbsup]
