Blackyv Turbocharged October 9, 2008 Share October 9, 2008 i also had 2 times of such encounter......once on TPE, near changi toward punggol.. another time recently on CTE, near amk ave5 toward SLE.... both times , i was actuually cruising at ~110kh/h on lane-1 and not really "speeding" like zig-zaging in out....by the time i notice TP at roadside aiming the camera at me, it's too late for me to slowdown and i just had to maintain the cruising speed,......but both time the love letter never appear... lucky me... Usually if they're at the side of the road they're more interested in the heavy vehicles speeding or unsafe load capacity. TP bikes are known to have cameras fixed on board. not sure about TP cars though. normal reaction when caught sight of TPs would be to slow down to 90. I sure slow down to 75 in the tunnel. but the stretch from TPE to kpe tunnel is very smooth, no high rise buildings, like driving overseas like that. 110 seems pretty easy to maintain. but at least the speed limit outside is 80km/hr so I am not over 40km+/hr, only kenna $170.... if kenna. That TP car had his camera installed on top of the police car with the camera facing towards oncoming cars. with this situation, guess anyone who speed against the speed limit, will sure kana but for WRX TP, i have saw a speeding camera installed just infront of their dashboard. guess this won't clog any car which speed towards him ba... If he is already booking a car by the roadside, do not think you will "kanna" from him. Do not think he so "seow" on or make a joke of himself by "quickly garang gabo" shifting his attention or camera on you. To him, that is a everyday job and besides you there are many other speeding fishes for him to catch. He knows cannot catch finish one. Dafansu Turbocharged October 17, 2008 Share October 17, 2008 (edited) I got the same question. today just infront of the KPE tunnel from TPE, I see on TP car parked at the road shoulder doing nothing.... Can the TP catch people speeding INSIDE the patrol car (camera?) ? cannot right? I thought usually they will stand outside to take a better pic of the license plate. I was driving around 115.... the speed limit before the tunnel is 80 right???
