No wonder Farrer road was so clear this morning -- even better than during school holidays! I thought how come so many people stayed at home today. Was wondering if it were a public holiday or not. laugh.gif

Ya, farrer road is another stretch of jam packed area.sweatdrop.gif

Me also affected by the jam!!! But at Thomson CC there, I changed lane from right most lane till left most lane and travel to my destination by Thomson Rd. Paid the ERP at the Thomson gantry.

Heard the incident on radio and divert immediately. From past experience, once got accident, better avoid that stretch.

My timing was 7.50am when I diverted. Usually at this timing, I'm already at my office carpark sleeping in the car. laugh.gif

wow, you are another early bird... at 7:50am, I just woke up. laugh.gif

me! i was 1 of the unlucky 1 also..after sending my son to sch in joo seng which was then 735am, i took braddell rd which is the usual route to work. got stuck at SPH centre already..and i reach work, which is in jurong port rd..at 915am! jawdrop.gif

9:15am !!!! Geesh, that's bad. by the way, from lornie onwards, which route do you take to reach jurong port road? Not that I need to travel the same route, but it's more for my knowledge.

I only started working in the West area for 3 months.

I know, just pulling your leg... E is just beside R. laugh.giflaugh.gif

But is it really faster to travel on CTE as compared to Lornie road (if no accident)? Is it really worth to pay that extra $$? Just curious.

travel time is about the same if there is no accident at all. i save $4bucks everytime going via that route.

my end point is in clementi. so i usually take lornie rd then exit PIE towards Jurong exit Clementi keke

not that early..i reached Bishan at 8.20am...and saw the jam.. the traffic is practically at standstill at one point for abt 5mins maybe. i was intending to go onto the flyover when i saw that the entire line of veh fall back all the way to toa payoh [hur] .. so i decided to go under the flyover instead...

Actually, what accident happened on Lornie Rd this morning ? Just curious. I was on bus 163 and on the way to work. The bus took 15 minutes to join from Yio Chu Kand Rd to Upper Thomson Road. If I knew is that heavy, I should have dropped off from Yio Chu Kang Rd and walk across the traffic light take buses from there instead of alighting at Upper Thomson Road. The worst jam I ever seen at this junction. It stretched back all the way near Springleaf..
